mentoring, life skills, and Re-Entry programs

Do you have a passion for working with Youth, incarcerated individuals, or those who have been recently released from prison or jail? Our lead counselor is experienced with developing case management, family strengthening, and re-entry programs through past partnerships with Alabama Department of Corrections, The Office of Women’s Health, and Alabama Department of Public Health.

Substance Misuse

Substance misuse, particularly opioid addiction has become an epidemic in the United States. New federal funding provides opportunities for prevention and treatment spanning programs from non-clinical intensive outpatient treatment groups (IOP) to programs for medically managed opioid replacement therapy.  Further, there is a significant gap in services for the provision of placement assessment utilizing the American Society for Addiction Medicine's (ASAM) placement tool. We maintain qualified licensed and certified staff who are able to administer this tool for your practice; write your substance misuse prevention or treatment proposal; or assist your practice with setting up and evaluating a screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT) program.

Integrated Behavioral health and program evaluation

Primary care practices can benefit greatly from integrating behavioral health. For example, screening and treating a hypertensive patient for co-occurring General Anxiety Disorder can produce better treatment outcomes and reduce the chance of developing other complications. We can help you implement programs that utilize clinical tools to aggregate data and provide a comprehensive clinical profile of each patient in an effort to improve clinical outcomes while lowering costs. We work with primary care practices to assess readiness for integrated behavioral health programs, train staff, guide implementation, and get your patients started on the road to optimum health and wellness. Additionally, we provide expert program monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) services for new and existing programs of all types.
